GT Research was created by longtime Oklahoma trial attorney Guy Thiessen. Guy has 30+ years of experience workshopping cases with mock juries, and has tried dozens of cases to verdict.

GT Research was formed by Guy Thiessen as part of his Tulsa-based law firm – GT Law. Guy has 30+ years of experience in the legal industry and has been conducting focus groups for over 20 years. Guy quickly realized that one of the biggest challenges as a lawyer is understanding both sides of a dispute in order to provide sound advice to his clients. 

Since juries decide most cases, Guy decided years ago that the best approach to understanding the issues in a case is to present the dispute to a focus group of people with similar backgrounds as the jury in the real case. With the help of his son Alec Thiessen, GT Research continues to grow its database of reliable participants and strives to meet all of the focus group needs of its lawyer customers.
